(12:48 pm - 05.30.2003 - amira makes people homeless - i feel )

hmm. so... let's see where i left off. i covered monday, now i think i'm doing tuesday.. so, after i got my pedicure i picked up amira, and we went off to cranberry, cause i felt like taking a little drive. pretty pointless though. we just went to wal-mart, the sev, marshalls, and krispy kreme. but after we got back, i took amira to the u-parc and let her drive around. it was pretty funny. after about an hour of that, i drove over to tarentum and let her drive around the drivers license center. what an adventure. after 20 minutes or so, i let her go on the road. i took her on the exact route that my test was. she did ok, until she turned too soon to get back into the drivers license center... and we ended up in an alley. she had to do a 3 point turn, and there was this huge truck waiting to get by.... well, amira backed right into a wooden fence. not too fast, so it didn't do any damage to the car, but i totally saw the fence lean back quite a bit, and we both heard like a million cans fall over on the other side. whoops. hopefully nothing will come of that.

after all that excitement, we came to my house, and my mom invited amira to stay for dinner, and she did. it was good. then after dinner amira and i got online, and afterwards we played uno and scattergories. man, i forgot how fun scattergories could be. i took her home after that, cause she did have to go to school the next day.

mom left me a note before she left, since i wasn't up. in it, she said she didn't want to come back. how nice! here's what went down. i was sleeping that morning, when i woke up, she was standing next to my bed... wanting me to find the phone. i did not want to be woken up this way, and i was frustrated... so after i found the phone, i came downstairs, and said "you know, that was pretty evil, you should have knocked." mom said she did like this (she knocks very lightly). ok, i wake up whenever someone says my name, and she knows that, so why didn't she do that? i said, you should have waited until i said something, and she replied, you think i should have waited outside the door all day for you to wake up?? ugh. she just got defensive cause she knows i'm right. moving on.....

work has been incredibly easy. yikes. except for the fact that we've gone to frozen the last 2 nites. bullshit. i get to work alone tonite, so that's cool. no friends there, besides john, but he won't be up my ass every 30 minutes.

wow, i just realized i have a lot of songs on my winamp playlist that i haven't listened to in forever. this morning i ordered a vendetta red cd. yay.

josh let me borrow the morning view dvd. quite nice. too bad he can't even watch it himself cause he doesn't have the right hook-ups for his dvd player. i drove out to ross park mall like an hour ago, for one reason, and it wasn't even there. figures.

i'm going to fridays with marilyn in about an hour. we're only going cause i have a free appetizer thing. and i like the drinks there, and since she's driving, i can drink whatever i want. and i got paid today. woo hoo.

1. what do you most want to be remembered for? for always being positive and smiling? tough.

2. what quotation best fits your outlook on life? be positive and love your life! heh. that's not really it, but hey, it's a 311 quote, what do you expect?

3. what single achievement are you most proud of in the past year? fuck. umm, for figuring out why i do certain things, and being able to change them in the future. the last year wasn't that great..

4. what about the past ten years? graduating high school. go me. loser.

5. if you were asked to give a child a single piece of advice to guide them through life, what would you say? you can only count on yourself. ok, american beauty, but it's fucking true.
