(7:56 am - 09.19.2003 - 41st friday five - i feel  ) 1. who is your favorite singer/musician? why? fucking 311, everyone knows that... even though they're not a "singer or musician".. plural!! why? because they never cease to put me in a good mood. happy memories... freaking amazing live show, great energy, all that shit. 2. what one singer/musician can you not stand? why? eh, celine dion. love is pronounced love not lurve. bah. 3. if your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person? i've met 311 a few times, and i know nick hexum likes pretty girls, but other than that he's a cool guy. i know i'd get along with mit, p-nut, and sa.. and chad? eh, maybe? everytime i've met him it's been different. but as a whole, yeah, why not? 4. have you been to any concerts? if yes, who put on the best show? yeah, i've been to my fair share of concerts... and 311 always puts on the best show for me (of course), but some other good shows were jane's addiction, qotsa, and slipknot (believe that or not). it all depends on what you like in a show. 5. what are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? do you feel the riaa is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music? psht. i think downloading is a ok. sure it decreases the number of albums actually bought, but when these artists start putting out full length good albums, that's when they'll be worth the price... not just a single and a bunch of filler songs... of course there are a few exceptions, and yes, i still buy cds. so =P fridayfive. see previous long entry here. << - >> if you really loved me, you'd buy me presents |
